Frequently Asked Questions
My selected venue provides event services & coordination. Why work with a wedding planner?
Event services & coordination. A venue event coordinator and a wedding planner are two totally different things. Venue event coordinators work mainly to highlight the value of his venue, while a wedding planner is there to make sure things go exactly as planned. He/she will coordinate all vendors, give attention to every detail and will speak on your behalf while you stay focused on how to enjoy your big day to the fullest.
Is there a charge for wedding event proposals?
Charge for wedding event proposals. There are readymade ceremony packages and also tailor-made planning packages. A couple does not need to book with us until they have a total image of how their wedding is going to be. We spend hours of work until we find the ideal venue, create a custom package and provide you with an impeccable event proposal, tailored to your needs. These long working hours shall be paid. However, the event’s proposal fee will be removed from the total amount, if you decide to work with us.
What’s the size of weddings you undertake?
Size of weddings. We can undertake any size of wedding! In the past, we have coordinated from small/intimate weddings, with only the couple and 20 close friends and family to weddings with 350 guests or more.
Will you attend my wedding?
Attend my wedding. Of course! Eleftheria is always the first person who visits the venue and the last one to leave. She makes sure that everything is as planned, coordinates all vendors before and during the event and is always ready to deal with any matter that might occur.
What’s the ideal time frame for a couple to start planning their wedding?
Ideal time frame for a couple. Anywhere from 8 to 18 months before the wedding date is a good time to start planning, so that you have all the time required to organize every detail, but still remain calm and stress-free.
Do you have a standard base of venues & vendors you collaborate with or can you also work with vendors of our choice?
Venues & vendors. We can work with your choice of vendors. However, we can only guarantee the quality of services and reliability of our entrusted team of preferred vendors. Regarding wedding venues now, there are plenty that may seem idyllic, but keep in mind that not any venue is appropriate to host an event. Many couples have already booked their wedding venue when they book us and so we have to deal with details such as terms of the contract with the venue or the amenities for catering and kitchen etc. These unforeseeable factors are not just details, but important issues that must be taken into account. We are absolutely open, though, to see and discuss with any venue of your preference, in order to ensure that it satisfies all requirements.
When it comes to wedding locations, where do you usually work?
Wedding locations. “Eventuries” has no borders. Our team will consult you on wedding licensed locations in Greece and make sure you find the perfect wedding spot.
How much do you charge for a wedding of (let’s say) 50 guests?
Charge for a wedding. It totally depends on each couple and their unique needs. The wedding venue of your choice, menu, decorations, flowers and extra services are all factors that also affect the total cost. Therefore, there is no standard answer to this question.
Should I travel to Greece before my wedding?
Travel to Greece before my wedding. Many couples choose to visit Greece months or even a year before their big day, to see by themselves the wedding location and venue or schedule a food tasting of their wedding menu. In any case, it is not necessary to visit Greece prior to your wedding. This is literally up to you.
Will you join me in my meetings with vendors & venues’ owners?
Join me in my meetings. Of course we are going to accompany you in your meetings with vendors, venue owners or managers. Let us know if you want us to.
How many days before my wedding, do I need to be in Greece?
Days before my wedding. If you are making an elopement or a close/intimate wedding, 3 days before your wedding day are enough. In case you are organizing a big wedding, the ideal time frame is 5 days earlier, so that you have all the time needed to discuss the final details together and make a pre-wedding meeting on the wedding location and reception venue.
That’s exactly what we’ve been looking for! So, how do we proceed?
How do we proceed? The next step would be to meet in person. That way, we will make sure that our personalities mesh and that we would both like to work with each other. If we find that we are a good fit then we will start planning your perfect kind of wedding.
